Area and perimeter results are offered in both metric (decimal measurement system or SI) and the imperial measurement system.

Metric:
Square Nanometers
Square Micrometers
Square Millimeters
Square Centimeters
Square Meters
Square Kilometers
And Hectares

Imperial:
Square Inches
Square Feet
Square Yards
Square Miles
And Acres

Regardless of the measurement system used when drawing the area, results from all measurement systems will be displayed from the results bar in the bottom right corner on mouse over (web and desktop app) or tap (mobile app).
